Vice Provost of AI and Technology in Education, NYU
Professor Shirky is NYU’s Vice Provost of AI and Technology in Education, and has appointments in NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, Journalism program, and Interactive Media Arts in Shanghai. Professor Shirky has written extensively on social media, including the books Here Comes Everybody (2008) and Cognitive Surplus (2010).
